The first official images of the 2015 Subaru Legacy have found their way online ahead of a scheduled premiere at the upcoming Chicago motor show, and… well, it's hardly earth-shattering in terms of looks, isn't it?
We say this because the 2013 LA show's Legacy Concept brought our hopes up with its striking head and tail lamps, low and sleek roofline, aggressive-looking vertical vents on either side of the lower intake and outrageous wheels.
Watered down from the concept though it may be, the production sixth-gen Subaru Legacy displays some very balanced proportions. The face has elements of the new WRX, particularly the 'hawk eyes' and the shape of the hexagonal grille.
The interior features a new centre console as well as a reworked instrument panel and steering wheel. The climate controls and touch-screen system have been refreshed, too. More details to come closer to the car's debut.
