2015-Renault-Fluence-Facelift-Malaysia-Spyshots-004

The latest facelift of the Renault Fluence has been spotted testing in Malaysia - yup, this is the one with the big diamond face. It debuted in Istanbul in November 2012, so strictly, it's far from being a new car.

Apart from a new grille and front bumper with LED DRL strips above the fog lamps, there isn't much to deduce where changes are concerned. We can see new wheels, but the rear end should maintain status quo, while the interior is expected to receive minimal alterations.

The 2.0 litre 16v 140 four-cylinder engine could soldier on as well, making 143 hp at 6,000 rpm and 195 Nm of torque at 3,700 rpm. Mated to an X-Tronic CVT, the Fluence is capable of 7.7 litres per 100 km on the European cycle.

Like the model that's currently available, this facelifted Fluence should be locally-assembled (CKD) at Tan Chong Motor Assemblies' Segambut facility. Read our full review of the Renault Fluence, or seek full specifications and a comparison with all of its closest rivals on CarBase.my.
