The customisation potential of the Ford EcoSport was showcased by the company at the Sao Paulo motor show in Brazil, with three separate design exercises exhibited by Ford's South American design department, each dubbed as the Storm, Beauty and Beast concepts.
With design cues inspired by the Ford F-150 Raptor truck, the first thing that's bound to catch your attention on the Storm concept is the front grille, which is a carbon copy of the one found on the Raptor - complete with bold Ford letterings - plus a striking shade of Blue Storm paint with black accents and stylised vinyls.
Further steps taken to enhance the presence of the Storm concept is the addition of widened wheel arches with matching plastic body cladding, a front engine guard and black 15-inch wheels shod in 215/75 off-road tyres. The other two design exercises strive to highlight the difference between luxury and performance.
The Ecosport Beauty concept showcases what a luxury-oriented variant of the car could look like. Painted in a shade of matte metallic called Copper Stardust - which possesses a copper hue - along with a black roof and contrasting details help add to the visual effect.
LED fog lights and 18-inch wheels, wrapped in tyres measuring 235/40, complete the exterior enhancements. Inside, four individual seats are featured, with DVD screens embedded into the headrests and a GPS-enabled multimedia system.
Lastly, the Beast concept prioritises performance with the addition of air intakes and 235/60 tyres wrapping 18-inch wheels. Pearlescent white called Speed White, contrasting blue and orange accents, LED fog lights and a bold three-bar front grille ensure it stands out. Bike racks replace the rear seats in the Beast concept.
