This is the second concept that showcases Volvo's future design language. The Volvo Concept XC Coupe has a clear family resemblance to its sibling the Volvo Concept Coupe, but in a crossover body form with more accentuated wheel arches, a taller roofline, and larger 21 inch wheels. It made its public debut at the Detroit show happening now.
Although it's a two door, four seater crossover, since the next Volvo SUV that's due for replacement is the flagship XC90, this could be a design preview of how the next generation XC90 could look like. This design will have to be scaled up of course, since the XC90 is a four door three row family SUV.
