Another month, another transporter carrying a Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class, except this time there's more than one at a go. Reader WK Foong saw a gaggle of CLAs on the move earlier on Jalan Tun Razak, and added that one of the white cars wore a CDI badge designation, which would likely make it a CLA 220 CDI.

No idea if these cars are grey imports or Mercedes-Benz Malaysia vehicles; the advent of a diesel variant would suggest they aren't the latter's, unless there's some field evaluation going on - word on the grapevine is that the CLA-Class is due to make its market debut through official channels only in CLA 200 guise, with its Camtronic-equipped M 270 DE 16 AL 1.6 litre mill good for 154 hp and 250 Nm.

Like the W176 A-Class, there's also a 2.0 litre 208 hp and 350 Nm '250' model type, but we've heard that might not be introduced here, at least not initially - MBM is set to bring in the CLA 45 AMG version though, but we'll know for sure what the game plan is when the car is eventually launched!
