The first official images of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 have found their way online ahead of the car's Detroit debut - and doesn't it appear menacing.
The Z06 boasts a more aggressive-looking front grille and a bodykit that includes a pronounced front splitter, front wheel arch extensions, swooping side skirts and rear wheel arch vents. Perched on its tail is a prominent wing with a high angle of attack, and the side gills and rear apron vents have been enlarged.
Reports speculate output numbers in excess of 600 hp and 800 Nm of twist - mind-blowing when you consider the previous Z06 already had 505 hp and 637 Nm of torque at its disposal.
