Jaguar has updated the C-X17 concept SUV for the 2013 Guangzhou Motor Show. The C-X17 first made an appearance at Frankfurt 2013, but this new Guangzhou 2013 update gets an interior that looks a small step closer to being production-ready.

The updated C-X17 concept measures 4,718mm long and 1,649mm tall, with 213mm of ground clearance. It has a wheelbase of 2,905mm, which is 10mm longer than the current generation Porsche Cayenne's. Those alloy wheels are a crazy 23 inches in size, and are expected to be much smaller for the production car. The production car will have an all wheel drive that sends more power to the rear wheels by default, and will feature systems like Torque Vectoring by Braking.

It's a five seater with a proper bench at the rear, instead of having the four seater individual bucket seat layout that the first C-X17 had. The interior features a combination of Jet and Tan leather, made by British leather specialists Connolly and Bridge of Weir. The interior has a 28 speaker Meridian sound system.

The C-X17 is built on Jaguar's new advanced aluminium monocoque architecture called iQ[AI], but it won't be the first production car to use it. The first production car will be a new mid-size C/D segment car which will go on sale in 2015 - a successor to the old Mondeo-based X-Type at long last.
