BMW released a sexy teaser video of the upcoming BMW i8 sports car on their BMWi YouTube channel a few days ago, which we featured. The 20 second mark is particularly goosebump inducing as you see the i8 zoom past in the shadows with nary a sound, thanks to its ability to run on electric mode.
But the faucets are leaky again and two official images of the BMW i8 have managed to find their way onto the internet. One is a side view with the scissor doors open and the other provides a very clear view of the interior, which features a full LCD display in place of the instrument cluster alongside a traditional iDrive display with a BMW i specific 'theme'.
This thing should be a blast to drive and we can't wait to try it!
