If the Lexus LX is an upmarket Toyota Landcruiser, the Lexus GX plays the same role as a Lexus-badged companion to the Toyota Landcruiser Prado. It sits between the RX and the LX in the Lexus line-up. New features include standard LED headlamps and daytime running lights. a new 8 inch touchscreen display with reverse camera, and various trim changes. Not many changes under the hood - the 301 horsepower and 446Nm 4.6 litre V8 motor paired to the 6-speed automatic transmission is a carryover.
