Remember the Peugeot RCZ R concept that premiered in Paris last year? Well, it seems it has become a production reality - the road-going version is set to make its international debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed early next month, ahead of its end-of-year launch.

As reported earlier, the car gets a 1.6 litre THP unit tuned to produce 260 hp, making it the most powerful road-going Peugeot ever to see the light of day. That's a specific engine output of over 160 hp per litre (about the same as the Caparo T1's). CO2 emissions are targeted at 155 grams per km. Peugeot mentions a bespoke suspension set-up, unique wheel design and Torsen LSD.
