The wraps have come off the 2014 Renault Koleos at the sixth International Buenos Aires Motor Show. This is the Koleos' second facelift in its five-year history, having last received an update only two years ago.
Forming that new face is a bigger and bolder diamond emblem, a restyled grille and a new front bumper. There're also redesigned two-tone wheels and chrome side strips, while Ebony Brown joins the body colour menu. There's new trim inside, plus new brown leather upholstery to match the new exterior hue.
Renault's R-Link multimedia system, incorporating navigation, radio, Bluetooth and audio streaming, makes an entry here, complete with a seven-inch touchscreen. Blind spot warning and a reverse camera are also new additions.
The French carmaker hasn't said anything about engines or transmissions, so the 2.0 litre dCi (in 150 and 175 PS states of tune) and 171 PS 2.5 litre TR25 powerplants are expected to soldier on, along with the familiar six-speed manual, six-speed auto and CVT as globally available choices. As before, 2WD and 4WD versions are present.
Other features to be found on the 2014 Renault Koleos include an electronic parking brake, auto dual-zone climate control, hill start assist, hill descent control and a Bose audio system.
