Naza-Brabus Motors Sdn. Bhd. has launched a new showroom in Glenmarie, further expanding the tuning company's presence in the region. Along with a new showroom, the dedicated Brabus Performance Centre located just 500 metres away was also given its official opening.
Present to officiate the event was Datuk Wira HJ SM Faisal Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin, executive chairman of the Naza Group of Companies, Mr. Christoph Dietze, regional sales manager for Asia-Pacific and Africa for Brabus and Mr. David Hector Ratnaike, vice president of the 4-Wheel Division under the Naza group.
"The opening of a new showroom and performance centre mirrors our desire to make ownership of a high performance luxury brand such as BRABUS easier for our esteemed customers. We chose Glenmarie's based on its immense growth as an automotive industrial hub in the Klang Valley of late, with the location being a convenient one for many of our customers as well," said Datuk Wira HJ SM Faisal.
Worth RM6 million, the new showroom boasts a 5,000 square feet built-up area with the usual luxuries afforded to cater to prospective clients. Individuals can opt to customise the interior and exterior of their cars with advise from a professional or choose to do it themselves online at the showroom.
Previewed at the showroom was the Brabus CLS Rocket 730, which is powered by a 5.5 litre, bi-turbo V8 producing 730 hp and 1,065 Nm of torque. As a result, the 0-100 km/h sprint is completed in 3.8 seconds while keeping the throttle pinned would allow the car to reach a top speed of 350 km/h.
The Brabus Performance Centre serves "as a one-stop solution centre for Mercedes-Benz and BRABUS owners," offering a range of services from regular vehicle maintenance works right up to engine and performance upgrades. The facility comes with a built-up area of 25,000 square feet, allowing for eight device bays. Five out of the ten staff employed there are Brabus-certified technicians.
"The BRABUS CLS Rocket 730 displayed here is testament to what the skilled, hardworking team behind our new Performance Centre in Glenmarie is capable of creating a 730hp and 1,065Nm beast capable of 350kph is no easy feat, and it isn't the limit to what we can offer to our customers either," he added.
Opening hours for the Brabus showroom begins at 9.00am to 6.00pm, daily, while the Brabus Performance Centre is open from 8.30am to 5.00pm on Mondays to Fridays and 8.30am to 1.00pm on Saturdays.
