It's no secret that BMW's coming up with a seven-seat version of its 2 Series Active Tourer - we've seen spyshots as early as May last year, and even a video of it testing on the 'Ring.
The model's always been snapped camouflaged from head to toe - until now. Today's spyshots reveal its face for the first time - although it's of little use since the front end looks no different from the five-seat car's, and the part we're really interested in (the back, naturally) continues to play chameleon.
The rear overhang looks like it hasn't been extended much - will the two last-row seats be able to accommodate anyone other than children with a reasonable degree of comfort? They'd have to look through pretty small rear quarter windows, too.
We're still trying to get used to seeing a kidney grille on an MPV - and where's the hallowed Hofmeister kink?
